The school visits, which aim to raise awareness among students in matters of local history, to contact with the cultural heritage of their place and to acquire archival consciousness, are carried out during the days and hours of operation of the service, after consultation.

  • The Archives of the Prefecture of Rodopi operates a library, supporting the activities of the archives and the investigations of those who consult the archival material which belongs to the GSA – Archives of N. Rodopi.
  • The library has books, the theme of which focuses mainly on history with an emphasis on local sources, but also on archival and rural life.
  • The library is not lending and operates in the reading room according to its operating regulations. The public has access to the library during the reading hours of the reading room.
